Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology, Dr. Morris Taub is an expert in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dedicated to providing his patients with medical assistance of the highest quality, he pursued a rigorous education before opening his private practice in San Pedro, California. Interested in both physiological and mental processes, Dr. Morris Taub pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Illinois. After graduating in 1969, Dr. Morris Taub expanded his expertise and enrolled in medical school at the same institution. After he obtained his M.D. in 1973, he embarked on postdoctoral training and accepted an internship with the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. While fulfilling his duties as an intern, Dr. Morris Taub gained valuable field experience and was able to apply his academic knowledge. After serving for a year as an intern, Dr. Morris Taub accepted a yearlong residency at the same medical institution and further augmented his knowledge and skills. Motivated by his interest in the digestive system, Dr. Morris Taub then completed a two-year fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Currently, Dr. Morris Taub oversees his own private practice in San Pedro, California. A Diplomate of the National Board for more than 35 years, Dr. Morris Taub is a specialist in digestive function and digestive disorders, as well as general internal medicine. With nearly four decades of experience treating patients, Dr. Morris Taub strives to provide only the best possible medical care. His research and findings have been published in The American Journal of Gastroenterology and Annals of Surgery.
